When it comes to kitchen i'm not a good chef ...most time i burn my mama pots , and end up eating "noodles" .. BUT i have some exceptions & one of my favorite recipes that i can eat all day and everyday is MAC 'N CHEESE .. i cook it at home cause it's way better for health even if it still full of fat / calories but at least u'll know what's inside it .. beside that it will please you cause it's your hand make with stuff you can find in your fridg!!
YOU'LL NEED
4tps usalted better , softened
A full cup of plain flour
2 and a half cup of milk
8 tps white creamy cheese
shredded cheddar cheese
1 pound of pasta (penne)
First, preheat the oven to 200˚C/400˚F.
i'm gonna start by cooking my pasta in a large pot of salted water until they're aldanty.
THE ROUX:
while the past cook i'll take a small sauce pot ,put it on heat add my butter &
let it melt , when it's done i'll add the flour & mix it with whisk fastly so it doesn't make any bubbles also we don't want it to stick in the pot leave it to cook for 3-4 min.
once the roux is golden add the milk & keep whisking it tell you get a creamy bechamel sauce.
Now my pasta is done , i'll add it to the bechamel and mix well .
All what we gotta do is to add creamy , cheddar cheese & mix it with a spatula.
Don't forget to add extra cheese on the top.
Once i'm done i'll put it in the oven plate , bake it for 20 min .
